Heck, nothing in this game wouldn’t be grounded in lore except the skill trees then.That would actually be really interesting. She sounded like an awesome character and the revelations about her in the end was hype.I find it sad how people always want every single element of a story shoved in their faces like there is no tomorrow.I'm pretty sure we'll learn more in the following games. Since Faye is a giant, she went to giant heaven.I've heard two theories, in one is that she isn't dead, or at least not in that timeline, and the other one is that because of all that timy wimey theories, she is death, but maybe the giants go to a different place in the afterlife. With Faye gone and Kratos finding it difficult to emote and Atreus being a kid, it would have been easy for both father and son to drift and Atreus to go down the wrong path. Thor was terribly frustrated he could never find her to fight. When making a story for a film or videogame or whatever, it's always best to not over explain things or drown shit with a bunch of exposition. Not to mention Faye waited until she died to set things on motion. I'm left with questions.Now, I'm sure some of these questions will be answered in the next game or two, but Faye is like the only character that actually drives the plot in God of War. Sounds a bit out there, but it would explain the game being in third person and be pretty awesome, but I see them more using this to do a reboot or major plot twist far dar down the line. Kratos’ wife is named Faye and she is a Giantess from Jotunheim. Not to mention the Valkyries were already sealed at this point so she couldn’t be taken even if she had died “honorably in battle”.Are there perhaps other places you go to in the afterlife for when you’ve died? Otherwise i think they will focus on the Giant's revenge against the Aesir. She didn’t even really plant ideas in Atreus’s head since she only spoke a bit about the gods and Atreus himself didn’t think as much of them or form an opinion about them until the Journey made him encounter some (Aesir and Vanir). Maybe something’s wrong there?
