My advice if you need a certain schedule or a day off is just ask. Refused time off for school. The managers on the other hand were mean and not understanding at all that's the only reason I left.Target itself is a great company to work for. Also be prepare to deal with employees who have big "target egos".Pretty easy just a lot of work that needs to get done sometimes.
They provide good training..Supervisor helps you when making a mistake. I enjoyed working with 99% of the staff.
Would be very busy and be forced to go up to front lanes, then wouldn't have enough time to finish freight. There is a good age range of people. Always scheduling as few people as possible, just so they can put all the workload to as few people as possible. Of course they over hire during an pandemic. HR never answers.Sometimes it was hard to get shifts covered, days off, or a set schedule.
Developing my team and watch them grow was an amazing experience. Management helps with whatever you need and you can talk to them about anything. Supervisor are nice..Good workplace culture.good place to work it was fun while it lasted and i enjoyed making so many friends. I loved it!Management is whatever but the culture is amazing. As long as you have an open schedule you're fine otherwise you're expendable.I love the work environment everyone is nice and caring towards you. the trainers are great & they teach you alot.Target is always making sure that safety is strictly enforced no matter what. they hire more and more people and cut hours at the same time. I initially started as seasonal fulfillment specialist and eventually was offered a permeant position. Higher stress no real hike in wage to make it worth it.Culture, wages, tacky customers, lack of support from higher management, lack of empowering positive experiences.As a general merchandise team member, our task list has grown so much since target has implemented those changes.
don't listen to team members about what department they like.say women are treated fairly and equally to men.Overall good to work at, management can be a pain.Cool place to work if you only want part time.Guest Service Associate - Front Lanes Leader.Target was my second family. Despite all these tasks, they seem to find more and more every week to add, most of which are redundant and do not improve the store or team at all. It can be a great place, but it needs entirely new management.No work life balance - Schedule changes happen within 24 hours.Its honestly a building full of fake laughs and fake people, they dont care about your personal life or how you feel inside of work. Management always says they will be fair in who goes up to back cashier but they never follow through, so the same few people will be up there multiple times while others just stand around on the sales floor.
