Service was consistently attentive, the ambience intimate and quiet, and the food -- everything we tasted -- was top shelf. The wine was a fantastic 2010 Chehalem Ridgecrest that was at its peak. While the menu is small, the chefs specials are always plentiful - sign of a kitchen that is always fresh. !Beautifully prepared food in an understated setting. We’ve been here two years before, with good service and good management. Just wished there were parking garages in the area, instead only street parking and though the gps led us exactly to the location, the restaurant sign was so small we passed it twice without realizing. It is by far the best deal for fine dining in DC that I've found. All dishes were perfect. The servers were welcoming and attentive and graciously guided us through the menu choices. We saw her again 20 minutes later. The staff at Corduroy takes the COVID precautions very seriously -- staff in masks and gloves, tables spaced greater than CDC recommendations -- they have done everything perfectly to make us feel safe.
